Tuesday, July 31

[On edit: Duty demands that I beg off posting for the rest of the week. Back on Monday.]

"One day you can tell all this to anyone who's willing to listen. No one will believe you. Despite the fact that anyone who makes the slightest effort can see what is waiting at the future."

Bergman directed his first film, Kris ("Crisis"), in 1946, the same year hundreds of "Ghost Rockets" rained down on Sweden. There was probably nothing otherworldly about this, so long as we set aside the proposition that we ourselves may not be of this Earth. Most likely, the flap was the result of experiments or demonstrations conducted over the Baltic by the Soviet Union's own German engineers. An urgent message July 16 to the Swedish War Department states "some highly placed officials believe the phenomena are Russian rocket experiments either purely for research or for War of Nerves. Staff very nervous about release of info to United States and United Kingdom for fear Russians will cry 'West Bloc'. This office urges greatest protection this information."

Sweden was an incidental proving ground, but everything about Iraq reeks of intention.

Shortly, America's first robot squadron will be deployed there. Each "Reaper," the size of a jet fighter, can carry 14 Hellfire missiles, or four Hellfires and two 500-pound bombs, and will be piloted from a console 7,000 miles away in Nevada. For ground-force support, Lockheed Martin is developing the robotic MULE. A Lockheed promotional video can be viewed here ("it will allow soldiers to use technology to perform a number of dull, dirty and dangerous jobs, freeing troops to focus more effectively on the success of their mission"). But naturally, "the most ambitious of the future combat systems" is the robot soldier "with a 'conscience,' which is being designed to look and fight, and in some respects think, like a human soldier.". And encoding ethics into a "new breed" of robot fighters is extremely important, we're told, because possibly "the abuses at Abu Ghraib would not have happened with autonomous robots, immune to human depravity."

An elderly cult leader in Australia named Kenneth Emmanuel Dyers, founder of "Kenja," has been"hounded to his death" over charges of child sexual abuse. Last year he was ordered to "stand trial on 22 child sex offences, but the NSW District Court deemed him unfit for trial in May and ordered a mental health assessment." During Dyers "trademark" meditations, which he called "energy conversion sessions", he allegedly took children as young as 12 into "private rooms, ordered them to strip and molested them." Claims of abuse date back at least 20 years. (A 1999 conviction was overturned on Dyers' appeal to the High Court in 2002.)

"This is a terrible tragedy," said an official statement released by Kenja, "and those that have participated in the attacks on Ken should feel a terrible guilt for their responsibility in this."

Dyer was a former military policeman and Scientologist, and critics have noted "significant similarities between Kenja and Scientology, including vocabulary and teaching material."

About Theresa Duncan and Jeremy Blake: I have to keep checking myself, because I don't want to make a game of Clue out of this. Not least because we're missing so much of the game board, but mostly because it's indecent to turn such fresh tragedy into a mind game. There are many curious aspects to this story, and it's appropriate, I think, to bring them forward, but on the whole I mean to resist the temptation to connect the dots, because there is still far too much space between them.

Ingamar was a man for his time. Who would have thought that his work would be middle of the road before he passed away. With all the acolades and 3 academy awards, one wonders why the only representation of his work that I've had access to for a couple of decades, was here at the blog. So much for genius.

There is a chimera of a rainbow on a worm and interesting to me is that worms have been on my mind for reasons unknown. I was thinking of the aphorism of "as the worm turns" and wondering why I use such a term and have no idea where it came from or what it intends but somehow seeing the egregore in the turn as the spiral of a wormhole. Another descriptor of the worm turning is the ancient symbol of the snake eating it's tail and called the ouroporos. Blavatsky incorporated this symbol with the swastika at it's "north" pole as the seal of Theosophy. To address Scott's question that he posed in the previous blog, the I Ching is a 6 base vibration as opposed to the Roman 10 base. These are vibrations, colours, musical notes, hz.

The nodes of liquid crystals called lifeforms are the mathematical equivalent of a meme or egregore. Sounder, your egregorophobic response reminds me of Tesla's Colorado Springs experiment where he forced ELF into SW and created a fireball in the lab and huge explosions in the field. If you could extract that same vibration back from the node which is located on the spiral where all vibrations exist at the same time but not in the same place on the spiral which is time/space based, than you create life in all of it's spectrums.

My example for this phenomenon comes from my rock hounding experience. There are plants growing on Mount Stephen the world heritage fossil bed in British Columbia that resonate the 350 million year old trilobytes that are found in abundance there. How does a plant evolve to look like an extinct creature that has been metamorphosed into shale?

One quick note on the 35W bridge collapse here in Minnesota:

As I watched the local news reports of the collapse the local Fox news anchor was relaying the information that the Dept. of Homeland Security had just arrived on the scene.

As if in some sort of nefarious version of a Freudian slip he then immediately proceeded to describe the situation saying something very close to--and I am paraphrasing here :

"the shock of the collapse of the bridge and the uh... awe of this situation here this evening..."

(I wish I could have linked the actual audio but could not find it)

It's quite obvious he was not reading from a script. Those were simply the first words that came to his mind. Is it really his mind anymore?

By no means do I intend to trivialize the situation and the people who have lost loved ones and who were injured--but it is always important to take notice of the fnords.

Ericswan you've mentioned worms. I would like to humbly correct you about the snake or worm eating its own tail. It's the ouroboros. Also the Society of Book and Snake an old secret society at Yale which was founded in 1863 has the ouroboros as its symbol on a book. Bob Woodward, Porter J. Goss, Nicholas Brady, and Henry Ford II are some of the more notable members. This symbol represents the vicious economic cycle too. Capitalism being the absolutely worst system known to man with its monopolizing vicious economic cycle. He that loves money and riches will never be satisfied by them. It's a sickness, a mental illness that plagues the man who has it. With sorrow and wrath he lives out his life.

Parasitic microscopic worms are inside and on each of us. We are literally walking specters of death. They can make us ill and even kill us. They are the final victors over us.

There are known microscopic parasitic worms that burrow into the brain and eat it up. Toxocara canis, T. cati, T. solium, Trypanosoma gambiense, Trypanosoma rhodesience, and Naegleria sp. These kinds of parasites can cause the dementia related to Alzheimer's Disease. The invertebrates are probably the reason for the disease itself! I don't know much about the funding for the cure but we probably will not hear much about worms in the brain.

Ericswan I do not believe that you have worms burrowed into your brain. It does make common sense to assume that these worms have something to do with Alzheimer's Disease though. I've seen pictures of brains that the disease had infected. They are smaller and are eaten up inside.

Though an astonishing number of U.S. bridges have collapsed in the past 20 years [AP Video: "A Look Back: Past U.S. Bridge Collapses"], each bridge collapse is a completely different case so statistical lumping like that probably doesn't really matter. And most of the known ones had something hit them like a barge. Nothing like that happened here.

There seems to be some sort of full bridge 'shudder' or vibration. I'll get back to that in a second.

Some of the videos here mention that some of the people who lived through the bridge collapse noted what they interpreted as jackhammers, like one person, "I could feel the jackhammers [sic, perhaps] vibrating for a few seconds through the bridge before it came down." Not a direct quote, from an AP news story.

Half of the bridge was indeed under renovation--to remove concrete I think and other things. However, a full-bridge sudden shudder--and a total smooth flat collapse without expectation--means some sort of resonant frequency was touched in the bridge.

Resonance in structures of bridges has generally only happened accidentally like that famous Tacoma Narrows Bridge fluke wind resonance--across the whole span. However, that was a tragic and well known sympathetic vibration noted many months in advance, before a particularly windy day vibrated the bridge into the water below. So with most vibrational structural issues, they knew it was wrong beforehand. Nothing like that in the many reviews of the bridge.

So what might have caused such a sudden unprecedented vibration, if that was a causal factor, perfectly attuned to the bridge?

This just came in from Sorcha Faal.

All you would have to do is radio-tune to find the resonance frequency of the whole bridge (using some form of geophysical tomography via ELF/ULF waves. This is how they search for oil and caverns underground for instance, because different materials give off different reverberation signatures. Then, once you know the specific tailored frequency, you can 'up' the amplitude and feed back on that frequency, at that location, creating a huge energy burst. Seems worth looking into...given the below [1] demographics of scapegoats in the area, and [2] that the main area in the U.S. for acoustical weaponry research was less than a mile away from that bridge, in the same city.

Massive ULF [HAARP-LIKE] ‘Blast’ Detected In US Bridge Collapse Catastrophe

By: Sorcha Faal, and as reported to her Western Subscribers

Reports from Russia’s Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics located in Irkutsk are reporting today that their Siberian Solar Radio Telescope (SSRT) detected a ‘massive’ ultra low frequency (ULF) ‘blast’ emanating from Latitude: 45° 00' North Longitude: 93° 15' West [which is the location of Minneapolis/St. Paul] at the ‘exact’ moment, and location, of a catastrophic collapse of a nearly 2,000 foot long bridge in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

[Scalar? After all:

The military says the HAARP system could work like the Star Trek scanners and weaponry all in one frequency-based package:

*
Give the military a tool to replace the electromagnetic pulse effect of atmospheric thermonuclear devices (still considered a viable option by the military through at least 1986)

*
Replace the huge Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) submarine communication system operating in Michigan and Wisconsin with a new and more compact technology

*
Be used to replace the over-the-horizon radar system that was once planned for the current location of HAARP, with a more flexible and accurate system

*
Provide a way to wipe out communications over an extremely large area, while keeping the military's own communications systems working

*
Provide a wide area earth-penetrating tomography which, if combined with the computing abilities of EMASS and Cray computers, would make it possible to verify many parts of nuclear nonproliferation and peace agreements

*
Be a tool for geophysical probing [geophysical tomography] to find oil, gas and mineral deposits over a large area

*
Be used to detect incoming low-level planes and cruise missiles, making other technologies obsolete

]

To the horrific destruction of the Interstate 35W Bridge which spanned the Mississippi River we can read as reported by the Star Tribune News Service:

"The 1,907-foot bridge fell into the Mississippi River and onto roadways below. The span was packed with rush hour traffic, and dozens of vehicles fell with the bridge leaving scores of dazed commuters scrambling for their lives.

Nine people were confirmed dead as of 4 a.m. today. Sixty were taken to hospitals and 20 people were still missing this morning. Authorities said they expected the death toll to rise."

Russian Military reports state that the total collapse of such a massive bridge, and in the absence of evidence linking its destruction to terrorist activity, could only have been accomplished by an acoustic weapon, of which the United States Military is known to possess.

These reports further state that one of the United States primary research organizations into acoustic weapons research is Augsburg College, and which is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and most importantly less than 1 mile from the Interstate 35W Bridge collapse.

To the exact reason of why, and what exactly happened in this catastrophe we can only speculate, but, with what is known about the United States past history of using sophisticated weapons on their own citizens for ‘research’ purposes it certainly lies in the realm of possibility that this horrific tragedy is rooted in the use of ULF weapons.

To the past usage of these new types of weapons we can read even back into the 1980’s of the United States research into their use as reported by the CNN News Service:

"Imagine the implications of a weapon with no visible trace -- a weapon that could knock out tanks, ships, and planes as fast as the speed of light. The same technology, with modifications, could disorient and even tranquilize military personnel, rendering them virtually helpless in the battle zone. These are the new weapons of war we will examine in this series.

For the past 40 years, the world has been riveted by the threat of nuclear war, and more recently by the prospect of space defenses using lasers and other modern technologies.

Lightning is the most dramatic form of energy to be found in nature. Scientists have succeeded in creating limited types of artificial lightning. And some think that these could be the forerunners of a new type of directed-energy weapon, part of a family of weapons that operate within the radio frequency segment of the electromagnetic spectrum, and are thus referred to as radio frequency weapons."

To the dangers of ULF weapons being used against civilians we can read the warnings of Dr. Rauni Leena Kilde, MD, the former Chief Medical Officer for Lapland (northern Finland), who warned in 1999:

"When the use of electromagnetic fields, extra-low (ELF) and ultra-low (ULF) frequencies and microwaves aimed deliberately at certain individuals, groups, and even the general population to cause diseases, disorientation, chaos and physical and emotional pain breaks into the awareness of the general population, a public outcry is inevitable."

To the exact reason of why the United States would be targeting Minneapolis with such a massive ULF ‘blast’ we can find in the exact neighborhoods that surround the Interstate 35W Bridge, and which are home to one of the largest Muslim populations in the United States, including over 30,000 Somalis who are outraged by the US sponsored invasion of their home Nation by Ethiopian forces.

For the American people as a whole, this catastrophe provides yet another example of the consequences of their allowing their Military Forces to gain total control over their economy and lives, and which history has long shown leads always towards total destruction.

The concept of jackhammers setting off resonances reminded me of the hotel walkway that fell in Kansas City in the '80s due to dancing - military squads never march over a bridge because the repetition of unison footfalls causes the bridge to collapse. It might be worth determining if there were actually jackhammers at work there.

Belliosto,

Speaking of "Book and Snake" occasionally I like to do a little Catholic channelling with my friends in Heaven who are constantly making fun of the way I spell. Today I am channelling a little Wit from the Staircase which leads to Heaven. Presently, the Wit comes in the form of a riddle:

What do you get when you (upsidedown)cross pedophile police chiefs with pedophile priests?

The answer:

"Special Agent, U.S. Secret Service, 1970-1973"

Et in arcadia ego eve that is unbelievable. I think that many of the people involved with the churches and schools that harbor the homosexual predators look the other way. The families and local cops that have befriended these men may be working out situations that caters to the priests homosexual vices. Teachers and coaches homosexual vices as well. Making it easier for the men to enjoy their homosexual bliss. It is a network of people working out agendas serving the benefit of this strange union. It could be business related. A potential of blackmailing families whose boys have participated with this kind of activity.

As tapping into the Holy Directives from heaven et in arcadia ego eve, the Mother Goddess's ancient influences in today's society are mainstream. Of course the Queen of the apostles in the churches, the statue of liberty being a representative, and the flag of the European Union represents the light of her husband shinning behind her. Yeah the directives from heaven through the goddess names the murderer of Pope John Paul I by position.

Our Lady of the Roses announced on May 21, 1983, "We will go back, My child, in history, a short history, and remember well what happened in Rome to John, Pope John, whose reign lasted 33 days. O My child, it is history now, but it is placed in the book that lists the disasters in mankind. He received the horror and martyrdom by drinking from a glass. It was a champagne glass given to him by a now deceased member of the clergy and the Secretariat of the State (Cardinal Villot)."

I know that you do not buy into this and neither do I. But this influence and possible networking due to the Mother Goddess seems to be a giant-sized reality.

Thank you for your hospitality. I cannot drink enough beer to kill off this reality. I bump into too many people in bars that simply look away and say it's speculative.

It sure makes sense to save all the evidence and try to figure out why something like a bridge that wasn't supposed to collapse did, doesn't it? "We're treating it of course as a crime scene.." said local police.

Shame they forgot this basic principle on 9-11. Then, they forgot to save everything to reconstruct exactly what happened so unpredictably--when on the same day three steel buildings collapsed without cause of fire within one hour, without steel buildings ever collapsing to fire, much less one hour only of low temperature fire. Not to mention all the bombs in the basement, of course, and all the witnesses around to secondary explosions before the WTCs came down. And not to mention the cutting charge based thermate molten slag that didn't belong in the building in the first place. Not to mention that one building didn't even have an alibi plane hit it (WTC7) before it collapsed demolition style as well. BBC of course reported on it before it even happened as completely collapsed, while the talking head journalist could have turned around and noticed that it was standing upright behind her.

All of the 9-11 script pieces that got relayed before they actually happened seem to be evidence of a psychological operations script running through the corporate media who pre-reported on many things that day. Another case of 9-11 "fore-reporting" was around the idea that "they were targeting Camp David and the Camp David Accords" meme. This psyop storyline was supposed to be seared into reality as well, and the script even fibbed that the date of the 9-11 attacks "was the date of the Camp David accords." However, it wasn't. Which only begs the question that it was a huge psychological operations script writer somewhere laughing. The story came with the pre-planned media canned comment that "after all [sic], 9-11 in 1978 was when these accords were signed" which the script was to relate to the world. However, to have actually said that on the air live several times over--despite it being a false statement since it was actually signed Sept. 17, 1978--shows that indeed a far more symbolic pro-Zionist slant to the attacks was meant to occur though didn't get its chance on the meme stage because a plane (or whatever it was) was running late for the psyop terror show.

So, one plane/thing never made it to Camp David to make a symbolic gesture to build a fake story around. They were unable to get their desired WWIII back in the late 1960s under Johnson either (when the US and Israel agreed to bomb and leave undefended a U.S. military ship in the Mediterranean to blame it on "Arabs", the USS Liberty. Then they had to realize that 9-11 probably wouldn't get them the psychological operation for WWIII either after the "Camp David Accords meme being destroyed" didn't 'come true' like they planned either.)

At least it shows how conscientious and perfectionist are our psyop guardians with their mythological state terrorism cover-stories, even if they are unable to pull off the actual events completely, decade after decade (thankfully).

Just like another plane never made it to the Chicago Sears tower, it seems.

The fact that this whistleblowing story came out of a "psychological operations commander's computer center" should be telling:

"As he worked on a computer belonging to a government psychological operations commander the day before September 11, Sergeant LJ Chavez, an army computer repair technician, saw on the commander's desk the op orders marked "top secret" for a war game drill USCENTCOM was participating in that day. LJ Chavez was shocked to see such a drill classified as "top secret" because over his 8 years in the army and participating himself in several dozen war game drills, he had never seen one that was even "secret" much less "top secret." It was virtually unheard of to have a war game drill be top secret. Usually such drills are public and open and the information is shared with the area involved in the drill. For example, in the case of war game drills involving planes, the necessary information would be piped to air traffic controllers in the area showing the planes involved in the drill as red blips on the screen.

The possible scenarios for the war game drill included a car bomb attack or flying a plane into a variety of targets including a California nuclear power plant, the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, the White House, the Sears Tower, and Cent Com itself....

One plane indeed almost made it to Chicago and likely the Sears Tower before it curiously did a 180 degree turn very close to Chicago, and decided to backtrack to eventually land at Cleveland's airport where it was moved off to a NASA facility.

You get the truly sordid backstage antics of a lot of things when you patrol Cleveland NASA issues.

Overall, 9-11 seemed a very well rehearsed 'for public consumption' script where about 3/4 got turned into 'reality' and 1/4 had to be ditched, including the long desired "US stands with Israel in WWIII" meme they have been wanting to sear into the psychologies of people through terrorism since the USS Liberty incident. They get careless though when their psychological operations cover stories jump the gun and is broadcast as "fore-reporting".

I would keep psyops and any future "directed blame potentials" in mind with this I-35 bridge as this story unfolds.

We know the mistreatment of 9-11 physical evidence.

They just put most of it on trucks blithely and shipped that crime scene out of U.S. jurisdiction as quickly as possible without investigation. However, it wasn't that they weren't interested in the scrap.

They were very interested in it--so much that they fitted all the trucks with pricey GPS satellite tracking to make sure all the loaded trucks did get most of the steel straight out of the harbor and into international waters as quickly as possible. I remember reading one article about that, that said if any satellite- monitored 15 minute stop by the truck driver occurred, it was cause for firing and immediate investigation by visiting that location in real time. If you're going to sit in a TV-screen filled room and watch WTC scrap moving to the harbor before the investigation, you are certainly going to sit in a TV-screen lined room and be able to stop 2 hours of hijackings from taking place. If they wanted to, that is.

So they wanted to investigate the destruction of evidence very thoroughly, though were unable to bring themselves to apply the same normal standard to the investigation itself or the actual events of the day to send up interception planes, a standard procedure?

Therefore, it's not particularly surprising that smoking guns are so quickly found by people barely looking into the controlled demolitions on 9-11 (like the thermate physical evidence that conclusively shows inside demolition job combined with all the witnesses to internal explosions).

It can be shown they (particularly Giuliani who organizes the expedited clean up and highly-tracked evidence destruction) were really interested in the 9-11 rubble.

Though the interest only extended to the sense that they wanted to investigate how quickly it got out of the country to make sure little crime scene survived to be investigated.

After the Republicans ditched the son of a Nazi S.A., as their annointed one (Schwarzenegger), their next uber-Republican Presidential Candidate Hopeful, Giuliani's only current claim to fame is that he runs a "terrorism advising company" called Giuliani Partners, and "happened, accidentally" to be in London during 7/7/05's scripted bombings that occurring during a G8 meeting that quickly changed the subject there, as well as distracted the UK from how much they hated Blair for a moment or two).

Since NYC attacks happened on or near (I forget) NYC election day, Giuliani publicly opined that "perhaps we better cancel the elections that will replace me so I can stay in control and provide you guys some desired continuity." Not a direct quote. If there are any records of G's comments to this effect, I'd like to read them once more if you find them.

Without a 'take charge' guy like Giuliani in Minneapolis (who would probably start to ship bridge pieces to Canada "to get this behind us, so we can get on with mourning and standing together"), it looks like the pieces will be saved, though likely left truly uninvestigated. They say the are going to save all the pieces to investigate this 'fluke occurrence', eh?

They don't like to really investigate all the fluke occurrances that have become almost normal for the past 7 years, do they?

The silence is deafening for a 9-11 comparison. A triple fluke occurrence occurs then where (almost) nothing was saved from the WTCs, and nothing gets investigated about the building's materials.

The strangely neutrally entitled "performance reviews" (not collapse cause reviews) of several buildings was it. In many areas the 'reviewers' weren't allowed to look at their buildings 'under review'. [as Hufschmid writes about].

If they did, they might see huge holes in the story--and holes in the buildings foundations blown up through the roofline of remaining structures. Or they just might ask where's the plane that hit WTC7 that brought all that melted steel into its basement as well.

Or they might ask questions about how uncanny it is that all that extra molten steel in the basements of numerous buildings came to resemble a formula for thermate steel cutting charges.

They might even dare to interview the many witnesses to internal explosions that occurred before the planes even hit.

They might want to know what really was going on with all the fireworks/firepower at the top of the Woolworth Building which had quite a 'view to a kill' from two or so blocks away of the WTCs.

A recent film from vonKleist [producer of the previous evidence-heavy and live clips of 9-11 "In Plane Site", summarizes a lot of 9-11 truther talking heads interviews and brings us up to date on further media spin--though mostly only on the issue of 9-11 buildings and planes.

I didn't learn anything new except one almost offhand comment (that there was ANOTHER seeming 'real plane' crash site near Shanksville, PA, in the woods? That people were threatened not to tell anyone about?, while they staged a little 'made for TV' 15-20 ft. trash filled 'no plane, no bodies' crater and only let people film that from a long distance.

The film concentrates on physical building evidence at the Pentagon and WTC complex, and the issue of the lack of Boeing plane evidence, and general hypocritical corporate media Orwellian memory lapses and endless revisions, and the phenomenon of 'thug journalism' as mostly the only response that the mainstream media can muster anymore:

Like the media, don't expect much from the "National Transportation Safety Board" that swooped down on I35 in Minneapolis from the federal level either.

Their black shirts, black ball caps, and deep-black wrap-around sunglasses (that didn't even come off for press conference statements I saw) made their media guy look like some sort of federal level vulture moving through the pickings , or even someone appearing holographically out of the The Matrix itself to survey the area--which probabaly was appropriate.

NTSB has been involved in a huge series of psyop-like 'go back to sleep' cover-ups in many high crimes for the past 40 years.

I think the late Skolnick was right that they lied thoughout their investigation of the plane crash that got wrapped up in killing the bag man (woman actually) involved in the seeming hush money being sent from Nixon to Hunt in the early 1970s right before Watergate broke.

More recent examples were TWA plane that got hit by some sort of U.S. submarine missile at sea; to after 9-11, Bush's quick appointment of Blakey who covered up on 9-11 issues--being a subservient Bush, Sr. puppet in his administration a decade before helped out. Then, she was actually known for reducing safety standards, particularly environmental reviews of airports, airplanes, etc.

Blakey's nonchalance, a month after 9-11, was counterpointed by how she uncannily knew exactly what was going on within 30 minutes of a massive plane falling from the sky without a tail--which crashed into pieces upon a New York City borough suburb, etc.. Her subtext was "keep flying, keep stock up, don't ask questions, keep smiling in the friendly skies" is what 'Ms. Safety' was saying then.

Contrast 9-11's blithe attitude toward 'freak occurrances' with the NTSB now who treat a mere bridge to the luxury of investigative reconstruction over a few months before they say anything.

Blakey knew what to say in 30 minutes, psychically, of the November 2001 plane crash in NYC.

"It's not terrorism" she officially stated. Though it likely was.

Who's terrorism, is the issue. It didn't manner whose terrorism when it wasn't useful terrorism to them then. When it was 'non-useful terrorism' it just becomes a 'freak occurrence' instead?

I wonder what 'useful' purposes this bridge collapse served, or will be spun to serve even if it was an accident--despite being so close to Augsburg College, which, at least according to Faal piece is somewhere connected to the U.S.'s acoustic weaponry research?

On that, I am unable to find much else about this supposed Augsburg College weapons facility, though that's not surprising. However, what is interesting is the circles this little college moves within: the college has had some highly placed politicos coming out of it and through it, including high level scientists and Nobel Prize winners. And Augsburg College does turn up on the same page with acoustic weaponry--though very attenuated. The college is mentioned in a separate article on something equally police state related on a page that is mostly about acoustical weaponry, at:

I made a copy of this video. If someone on the bridge felt 'jackhammers' before it fell, another person no where near the bridge (he couldn't even see it) described this.

First Person: 'The Ground Was Moving'

"It was about 6 o'clock. I was just coming home from getting something to eat. I heard a large shake, ah, a large rattling noise. It lasted about 15-20 seconds. The ground started moving a little bit, ah, I thought nothing of it at the time, ah, I thought a big freght train came to a halting stop pretty quick. Then I immediately heard the emergency personnel arriving on the scene. I figured something major must have happened down there, so I ran down there...."

By the way the segment of the video where a couple is sprayed with a semi-odorless gas that caused them to fight each other must be fake. The gas must be completely odorless. Because that was a typical day between me and my ex. Which explains everything. It was a cruel gov't sponsored scientific experiment.

Our time together was full of excitement and frustration. The first year of our relationship, I spoke and she listened. In the second year, she spoke and I listened. In the third year, we both spoke and the NEIGHBOR listened. I admit I almost married Miss right. Until I found out her first name was Always. When she asked me one night to go out and have some fun, I said to her OK, but if you get home before I do, leave the hallway lights on.

And it does not matter how often a married man changes his job, he still ends up with the same boss.

The Faal piece had this link about Augsburg. Lots of National Science Foundation money into this small private school.

Summer in the Physics Lab
by: Betsey Norgard
Fall 2003
More Physics stories

Eight scientists are gathered round a conference table for a regular weekly meeting. As they begin reporting their research to the group, the talk is of variations in ULF and VLF waves, compilation of PE and QP/PE data, progress on papers to be presented at professional conferences, etc.

This would not sound unusual until it's realized that the meeting is taking place on a small, private college campus, and five of the eight participants have only just completed their first or second year in college.

Each summer, as part of the funding Augsburg receives from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and others, physics professor and department chair Mark Engebretson selects promising physics and pre-engineering students for research projects in the physics labs. Engebretson says that the department tries to provide all physics majors with research opportunities—the experience helps physics and pre-engineering students with graduate school admissions and helps them compete for national fellowships.

Geoff Shelburne, who is beginning his junior year, began working last year with Augsburg physics senior Alexa Halford ’03 on a paper titled "Latitudinal and Seasonal Variations of Quasi-Periodic and Periodic ELF-VLF Emissions."

The paper, a statistical study of extremely-low-frequency (ELF) and very-low-frequency (VLF) waves using data from several stations in Antarctica, including the South Pole, won Halford a top student award last year when she presented it at the spring meeting of the American Geophysical Union.

This was one of two such awards to Augsburg students in the last three years, who competed against mostly graduate students, some of whom were presenting their Ph.D. work.

Shelburne's work has focused on identifying, tabulating, and plotting occurrences of various types of these waves as a function of the time of day for an entire year at four different stations in Antarctica—a time-consuming and tedious job.

Engebretson points out at the meeting, however, that Shelburne has made a valuable contribution with his meticulous work, because of surprising variations that can be observed only when studying the data in the detail he plotted.
Shelburne is working with Engebretson to complete the paper and ready it for publication next year. The final author list will include Halford, Engebretson, assistant scientist Jennifer Posch ’94, as well as researchers at the British Antarctic Survey and at Stanford University. Engebretson points out that all the department's funded research is done in collaboration with physicists at other schools and institutions, part of the educational process for the students.

Shelburne has put in his time learning the detailed, routine task of collecting data. Next summer, he hopes to gain additional research experience at another school or research laboratory—something that Engebretson encourages most of his students to pursue.

Jon-Erik Hokenson, who just completed his sophomore year, is teaching three first-year research students in the space physics lab how to run and plot the routine data—the same kind of work he did last year as a freshman. Part of their work involves comparing the data recorded daily by an orbiting satellite with data recorded at the same time at the ground stations to see if the same events are observed. It requires using a computer program to translate numerical data into spectrograms, or colored charts, that show wave activity.

Hokenson is a physics and math major, and also has a computer science minor. The computer program familiarity comes in handy when students must write their own programs in order to run the data they want. Computer science and physics students have been collaborating over the past couple of years on new programs in the physics labs.

Back in the meeting, first-year research student Erik Lundberg reports to the group on the difficulties he faced with such a computer program while trying to run the data requested by a researcher at another institution.

When the printer refused to spit out any data beyond 1999, Lundberg wrote a new program to eliminate the problem. Engebretson asked him to install it on all the lab computers.

Lundberg recognizes that science is a lot of routine. "Sometimes you run the numbers several times and it doesn1t work; but one time it works ... and it's exciting."

Heather Greene ’04 reports to the meeting that her paper is completed and will be presented at a McNair Scholars conference the following week. The paper studies the activity recorded by satellites during a geomagnetic storm to help understand its effect on communications systems as well as human health.

Greene's summer research was funded by both the McNair Scholars program and the National Science Foundation.

The McNair program seeks to prepare students for doctoral studies and to increase the number of graduate students from underrepresented sectors. Through the summer experience, Greene says, "I am starting to learn the process of research and what I need to network with others."

To prepare for her conference presentation, Greene was able to build confidence with presentations to her two physics professors, Engebretson and Professor Ken Erickson ’62, as well as to the McNair Scholars staff and students.

Augsburg's physics department has a long history of both involving students in ongoing, original research and of collaborating with other scientists literally around the world.

Hokenson said that he had just sent three CDs of data to a researcher in England who had requested it.

Some of Shelburne's data came from Stanford University and the British Antarctic Survey. Recent physics graduate Jesse Woodroffe is still comparing data from four European satellites, obtained from a researcher in Germany with data from Augsburg's own instruments.

After graduating from Augsburg, Erickson returned in 1970, to teach space physics at both the University of Minnesota and Augsburg. Following the example of his faculty mentor at the university, he began involving students in interesting projects and research. When Engebretson came to Augsburg in 1976, he began to seek grant funds to cover the student activities. Today, after more than 30 years, and with the addition of Professor Ambrose Wolf's research in solid state physics, there are few small, private colleges that provide the depth of undergraduate research in physics found at Augsburg.

The meeting continues with an announcement that Olga Kozyreva, a visiting physicist from the Institute of the Physics of the Earth in Moscow, would arrive the following week for a month's stay.

Her visit, along with regular semester-long visits by Russian physicist Slava Pilipenko, continues collaborative research and teaching with Engebretson, funded by a recently-renewed National Science Foundation grant.

In addition to the 10 students working at Augsburg during the summer, other students are at universities around the country.

For the physics majors attending the meeting, getting experience that helps them gain an edge in their field and getting paid for it is ideal. And, as Hokenson puts it, "you couldn't ask for a better employer than Professor Engebretson."

Alas, Jeff posts Bergman on the 31st. Bergman died on the 30th, age 89. Did Jeff mean this as an obituary tribute?

I didn't know that Bergman had such a close Swedish royalty connection:

"He was born in 1918 and his father was Lutheran chaplain to the Swedish royal family and a strict disciplinarian."

And back to the bridge, a telling quote, and look at this aerial picture of how perfectly flat the failure was:

"It really took quite a while for me to realise [i.e., convince himself] that this was not a planned explosion... to realise it was a tragedy."

So that resident's first thought was planned explosion. That quote says a lot about the way some people want to convince themselves of something that may not be so. Besides, aren't planned explosions tragic? Perhaps more so?

Speaking of planned tragedies. Newsflash. Bush to visit a mere downed bridge in the upper Midwest, while unable to break himself away to visit closer and much larger Katrina-hit New Orleans and a whole devastated Gulf Coast on his earlier vacation...Where chaos comes, Bush is sure to follow: "You're doing a heck of a job, Brownie!"

Reports on the bridge are that it was very low on traffic due to construction--and this construction had nothing to do with touching the structural trusses at all.One quote from Minneapolis:

"One of the saving graces of the whole accident was that the bridge was under construction and the traffic on it was down to one lane in each direction from four and going at a snail's pace [i.e., weight of cars were hardly an issue.] I had just gotten off on the exit before the bridge 30 minutes before because I didn't want to deal with the traffic. If this had happened on a normal day without construction, there would have easily been 2-3 times as many vehicles on the bridge, and possibly a good number more who could not stop in time. It could have been far worse under 'normal' circumstances."

Reminds me of endless "practice escapes" reported by WTC workers held by the building management in the weeks before 9-11.

Mark, this is by no means a rumble starting disinfo distraction, just some random thoughts.

Why believe the Russians?

They don't have such impecable truth telling credentials either.

Ever read the latest incarnation of Pravda?

Calling it gobble-de-gook of the highest calibre would be a compliment.

When I attended the University of Pittsburgh I met this older gent-I was in night school-who was a Russian translator during the Vietnam War. He had a friend who was a reporter for, I think, UPI, who was stationed in Russia.

The reporters office was across the street from a high-rise that was under construction. On one Friday, as he left his office, he noticed that the high-rise was now at 3 stories. When he returned on Monday, the high-rise was back down to one story. When he inquired into the fate of the other 2 stories, he was told that they'd only reached one story & he was very mistaken about the existence of the other 2 levels.

After months of inquiry he found a local KGB officer who admitted, off the record, that they'd used inferior concrete & the building had collapsed over that weekend.

Of course, that was in the end days of Communist rule, but there's still far too much bad blood between us, all public displays of glad handing aside, to outright believe anything they say.

& this from the Tom Tomorrow website:

"The real marvel of life in New York City is that streets don’t explode more often, that more people aren’t injured or killed by falling cornices or collapsed scaffolding. Once when I was living on 120th street, I watched flames ten or twenty feet high shoot from an open manhole at the end of my street. And shortly before I moved, a woman stepped on one of those ubiquitious metal covering plates Con Ed leaves strewn about the city, and was electocuted. To death. Just an average New Yorker going about her business, steps on the wrong patch of sidewalk, and bam. Turns out some huge percentage of those things are carrying some measurable amount of live electricity.

Honestly, the astonishing thing about New York is that it works as well as it does, given the density of the population and the age of the infrastructure."

Don't you think that the same applies to the rest of this crumbling ex boomtown we call America?

Don't know the bridges history, so I'm probably talking out my ass, but saying the thing isn't supposed to collapse ranks up there with other quasi-legit governmental body's pronouncements like:

"Iraq has weapons of mass destruction."
&
"They'll greet us as liberators."

& I live in the Pittsburgh area & we have a lot of bridges.
Every time I drive across one, which happens quite frequently, I look passed the latest paint coating & see rusting metal & crumbling concrete & think, "Jesus H. Christ on a crutch, it's a fucking miracle I'm not swimming now."

Governments are, in the end, all the fucking same.
There isn't a good one amongst the lot of them.
They're all liars who serve their own agendas
no matter what they say to the contrary.

Witness Obama & his Pakistani Hard-on.

When I heard him twaddle on at that speech, the first thing I thought was, "What is it with these guys? Always signing checks with their mouths that others will have to cash with their blood & others."

They all fucking suck it.

I like to think I'm open minded-alright no laughing ...yeah, you in the back, stopping chuckling-so you'll have to forgive me if doubts always seem to seep in the openings.

For what it is worth, I'm 45 now, & I have a few mental filing cabinets filled with questions, yet I can't think of one good answer.

Yours sounds as good as any.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070803/ap_on_re_us/bridge_collapse

"MINNEAPOLIS - Minnesota officials were warned as early as 1990 that the bridge that collapsed into the Mississippi River was "structurally deficient," yet they relied on a strategy of patchwork fixes and stepped-up inspections.

"We thought we had done all we could," state bridge engineer Dan Dorgan told reporters not far from the mangled remains of the span. "Obviously something went terribly wrong."

So, how many warnings do you think exist about the general over-all structural deficiency of Asylum USA?

"a strategy of patchwork fixes and stepped-up inspections."

Yep. That's sounds like Pittsburgh.

Typical.

Richard, I liked the incredible rainbow of emotions your little soliloquy went through until you came to a completely opposite conclusion from the one you started with.

Well, I'm sort of hunting and looking up curious facts that interpretively fit the premise of the Faal piece, instead of what I am posting meant to indicate I am completely convinced by it. Sometimes a perspective contrary to the way something else is written is a great insight into subtexts, i.e., to read articles against the grain, so to speak, helps to see where certain other assumptions that may not be true either are carried through.

Besides, after the past six or seven years of Bush, with so much of the hell he planned written up beforehand just waiting for a trigger, I think it's good to start with the premise that anything tragic is nefarious and then work backwards toward innocent accidents if it deserves it, instead of the other endlessly naive 'innocent until proven guilty.'

(Actually, that reminds me of something in the bioregional state: that corporations and organizational actors like states that claim legal rights as individuals, given their power, recidivism, and innate collusion, are suggested to be held to a legal regimen of guilty until proven innocent (perhaps if they are only recidivist), while people as individuals are innocent until proven guilty. I think that fits reality a bit more than ExxonMobil or British Petroleum going back to the court every year claiming its innocent, etc. Hold governments to the same recidivist standard. Another idea is that repeat criminal corporations are simply dismantled, the 'death penalty', and their main executives are banned for a while from participating in any management of other corporations--having proven their psychopathy already once enough. Why maintain innocent until proven guilty for the recidivist, psychopathic organizations?

Ah, we have so much to look forward to: a Smirker in Chief animatronically prompted to hurl platitudes at the downed bridge, then go back to DC to plot hypocritically of bombing other countries' civilian infrastructure. You don't think that's what he's "thinkin'"?

I've been reading RI in near-total rapture now for about three years, when I probably should have been working on other things to further my financial situation or create more of my own works of truth to counter the systematic lie machine, but I digress... Jeff, thanks for all your hard work and please take care of yourself. I know peering into the darkness too long will destroy you if you're not careful, so please do be so while you continue your public quest for understanding.

After reading Mark's comment quoting Sorcha Faal's latest piece about the bridge collapse, I went looking for verification of Faal's assertion from Russia’s Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics and found the web site for the Siberian Solar Radio Telescope (SSRT) which supposedly detected the ULF blast Mark has been on about.

The contact page lists an A.T. Altyntsev as the department head, so I emailed the address provided with the following:

-------------
Subject: ULF blast detected by SSRT?

Hello,

I am wondering if you can confirm the following published today on
http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index1026.htm:

---
Reports from Russia's Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics located in Irkutsk are reporting today that their Siberian Solar Radio Telescope (SSRT) detected a 'massive' ultra low frequency (ULF) 'blast' emanating from Latitude: 45° 00' North Longitude: 93° 15' West [which is the location of Minneapolis/St. Paul] at the 'exact' moment, and location, of a catastrophic collapse of a nearly 2,000 foot long bridge in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
---

Is this true? It does not seem that the SSRT as described on your web site would be able to detect this sort of terrestrial ULF signal, but I am not a physicist, just a concerned citizen.

Thank you for your time,
-Me
-------------

...and got a prompt response this morning (EDT):

-------------
Date: Fri, 03 Aug 2007 16:28:03 +0900
From: altyntsev <altyntsev@iszf.irk.ru>
Subject: Re: ULF blast detected by SSRT?

Dear Sir,
the cited paragraph about the SSRT detection is nonsense.
Sorcha Faal is lying.
Altyntsev Alexander

-------------

It is not my intention to call Mark out specifically for not doing even this most basic fact checking before going on a wild journey of cascading hypotheticals, regardless of their historical precedence, but my intention is rather to point out how easy it is to do a web search on a source and drop an email to verify a singly-sourced claim before extrapolating upon it endlessly.

What this says about Sorcha Faal, I can't speculate. Either Sorcha is lying, or Mr. Altyntsev the SSRT department head is lying, or Altyntsev is not "in the loop" and someone at SSRT told Sorcha without telling the department head. Occham wasn't always right, but if we do assume horses before zebras, which scenario seems most likely?

Is there anyone in this perilous chapel who understands enough about radiotelescopes to comment on the plausibility of an array of dishes aimed at the sun both picking up and pinpointing a terrestrial ULF signal? As I told Mr. Altyntsev, I'm no physicist, but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

ericswan,

Hardly new to blogging, but this is a new account created this morning for posting to RI (which I am new to doing). Check my profile again for an email.

I should clarify that I wasn't denying the possibility or even plausibility of the bridge collapse being a weapons test of scalars or acoustics, and also that I don't follow Sorcha Faal's work at all so I don't have anything on which to base an assumption that Sorcha is the one who is lying other than the assertion made by someone who works at SSRT who does have a name as opposed to Faal's source who does not.

So if we want to speculate on an intentional cause of this bridge collapse, perhaps we should return to the good ole "Qui Bono?"

Remember the twin towers were a huge maintenance problem which weren't even economical to abate of asbestos. It seems as though this bridge were nearing collapse through poor maintenance practices as it was, so could it be argued that exotic weaponry was tested on it just to demolish it so they could rebuild at a net gain rather than a net loss to the Minnesota transportation fund? Seems like a tenuous theory at best.

Keep it rigorous, y'all. ;-)

The anatomy of a murder. CNN reported 2 hours ago (timelines count!) that the only thing under consideration is that the bridge fell by accident. This is in contrast to the bridge came down due to terrorist activity? The focus has narrowed considerably.

Another interesting feature in the news is that the slab of bridge on the east side was 50 feet out of direct free fall that the rest of the bridge parts demonstrated.

IC...This may have Schauberger type consequences from damming the Mississippi above and below the bridge. Changes in the natural flow could have sent energy by way of erosional processes through the bank via groundwater pressures. We know that there were very few vehicles on the bridge and that a train was passing by under it.

As far as addressing the Qui Bono aspect, Neilson ratings come to mind. The bodies are in less than 10 feet of water but still haven't been recovered is stretching the emotional manipulation and print media updates to the limit. This may be more of the "bait and switch" away from one main story (and there are many that have a negative impact on POV) to a tragedy which has a top of the fold shelf life guaranteed to occupy the public mind for 73.33 hours.

More food for thought...or just another punch-drunk meme-fest?

Distinctions no longer seem so hard & fast as they used to. I just dropped by after a brief absence (the medical establishment is bent on killing me, I think), and the first thing that caught my eye was that link posted by teak to Dream's End's blog, which is currently swirling with strange notions of fraudulent identities in Jeff's comment fields. One of the signal pieces of evidence for this claim (aside from the usual allegations of symbiosis between Richard & Shrub and the very inexplicable antics of of our friend Mojo with his Seven Faces of Dr. Lo shtick) was...anagrams.

Yeah.

Apparently, clues to our real motivations and identities are to be found in throwing the bones in the anagram engines. I found some lovely hidden talents in my own watery guise, some of which I shared with the folks discussing this on the discussion board, but it all seems more than a little silly.

But then when I came back here again, expecting some terra firma (if not exactly cognito), it didn't strike me as much more "solid" somehow. I mean, sure, fact-checking is a worthwhile endeavor to be sure, but how can we ultimately be sure that the facts we're checking are really factual?

The only remedy I could think of was perspective. The farther back you go, the more clearly you can see where something fits, even if the details are all but obscured by that point. Here's an example. We do know that sympathetic vibration is a very real phenomenon. In the macro world, we know that objects can be disintegrated, excited, set in parallel or otherwise linked, while on the molecular level the same sorts of excitations also occur, both naturally and not so naturally.

We also know that minds can be linked in a similar sympathetic vibratory mode or, conversely, set in serial opposition. (The golden vibe versus the hostile fragmentation syndrome.)

There are theoretical explantions for these phenomena, from Haselhurst & Wolff's Wave Structure of Matter and Russell's Universe, not to mention ericswan's and my Schauberger obsession, to the more esoteric, spiritually based models (the Steiner/Jung school, for example, or even the model put forth by Hans Kayser, which seeks to combine both.) What I'm trying to say here is that if we confine our search parameters to what info we can find about spooky human agencies, well, then we're relying on PR put out by someone or another, at which point all those "ridiculous" questions about hidden agendas take on all sorts of sinister significance.

The high ground is safer...and it keeps that ectoplasmic goo from ruining your nice warm socks. (Which certain entities seem quite intent on making as uncomfortable as possible, whatever their motivations.)

You are an absolute serendipitous genius, I hope you know. Did you really date Jeff Gannon? If so, how does that reconcile with your philosophy of Karmic Retribution? The man's a disgusting pig....every bit as much as the creeps he services. Talk about Karmic Blowback.

Either way, they failed to realize that your anagram was a play on my Rapist Wit. The inability to understand context just Murders me...doesn't it you?

By the way, Eve, how did you know my name? More serendipity? A coincidence? Maybe I'm next? You know my feelings on Celebrity...so do so quietly, if you can...Okay?

To Eve's moniker absent the Eve, it was not a threat to Jeff. Once again, look long enough to understand the context. It was Satire. Jeff is not in harm's way. He can't and doesn't focus on specific enough atrocities long enough to be a threat. If he were more af a tenacious Bulldog (Oh my Gosch!!!), perhaps he would be on a long list of those in danger, but if that were so, he wouldn't be Jeff Wells, would he?

Like our rapidly curtailed "bridge investigation," that Eric notes CNN spinning, back in 1979:

Unit-2 of the Three-Mile Island nuclear power reactor complex in Harrisburg underwent an improbably sequence of "accidents." Later investigation revealed that critical values had been illegally and manually closed before the event, preventing emergency cooling water from entering the reactor's steam generator system. Within 15 seconds, emergency back-up systems had brought the nuclear fission process to a stop. But then, a plant operator violated all procedure, and intervened to shut off cooling water into the reactor core. The details of what then happened have been documented elsewhere extensively.

On August 3, 1979, in its official report on the event, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission posed sabotage or criminal negligence as one of six possible causes for the Three Mile Island event. But even after eliminating the other five possible causes, the government refused to seriously consider the possibility of sabotage.

News to the world's media during the entire Harrisburg drama was strictly controlled by the newly-established White House Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). No government or nuclear plant official was allowed to speak to press except when screened by FEMA censors.

FEMA was created by Presidential Executive Order based on the blueprint of Trilateral Commission White House adviser Samuel Huntington [still important and in the Bush league now, in the proposed "clash of civilizations" that the neocon WWIII warriors want]. Curiously, FEMA went into operation on March 27, five days before its scheduled date of operation, and one day before the Three-Mile Island incident.

Under direction of National Security Adviser Brzezinski [who pops up here in conversations a lot], FEMA controlled all news at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. FEMA ordered evacuations of the surrounding population... refused to brief media for days, permitting panic stories of fictitious items such as "gigantic radioactive hydrogen bubble into atmosphere" and worse, to fill headlines.

[THEIR MOVIE WAS PREPARED FOR MASS DISTRACTION: This takes the cake: everything so well planned out for years enough to have a 'companion movie' made for a future Three Mile Island incident, a film already completed, and ready to be shown within weeks of TMI--to steer and manipulate the public.]

Also curiously, that same month, a spectacular Hollywood movie, "The China Syndrome," starring Jane Fonda, portrayed a fictional account almost exactly paralleling the Harrisburg events, further fueling public hysteria... *

See, I told you, Eve, he's a big meany, isn't he?

A lot of dismissive marginalization, beating of the chest and threatening in that post. Ironic, when you consider he falsely accused me of threatening Jeff in his response to those on the Big Board. Another thing I find humorous is that he claims he doesn't waste time with the blog comments section, yet he replied, meaning he does waste time with it. See, I knew he wasted time with it and his statement to Shawna and the others on the Big Board was disingenuous. And, if he's not a moderator on the Big Board, then where the hell does he get off telling Shawna she's got one foot out the door?

I will give him credit. His elocution was somewhat impressive.....it reminded me of a Silverback dressed as Gore Vidal at the Masquerade Ball.

You are not an "utter cunt," Eve. That was a terrible thing for him to say and quite indicative of his character....but I already knew that about him.

And as for facts, I'm afraid the one lacking Eve in his name wouldn't recognize a fact if it smacked him in the face....see, it's all a game...not just in the Comments section of this blog. If the tattoo artist got out more, he would soon realize that...well, on second thought, maybe not....some (many) never do...and that's part of the problem.

Sorry Muddy, but you lose the bet. The bet however does provide opportunity for a confession I would like to make, and maybe further observations.

I have had very little direct contact with the thinking of Jung, Sheldrake, P.K.Dick or Bergman. I thank Jeff Wells, Muddy and other linkers for providing a fine context for exposure of these thinkers. (Two hummingbirds are outside my window as I write.)

My major personality quirk is that I have an obsession to be more than a simply derivative thinker. So that in a few cases I have maintained an intentional distance from my natural intellectual heroes. This is a part of my experiential experiment. Will my formulation resonate naturally because of a substantive connection to reality, or is it instead simply another set of forms with an artificial or contrived connection to substance? (Don’t try to answer that one Shrub.)

While most will take on the forms (of understanding) of the community in order to build intellectual structures for examination and explication of what (or where) is substance, I choose to work backwards, -so to speak. I wish to have substance shape the forms rather than the conventional habit of looking through forms in the hope of then finding substance.

I am not making a value judgement here; I’m only saying what works better for me. I am the Indian that sits backward on his horse, the illiterate bluesman or literally speaking, the solitary eccentric.

It does seem odd that those most alienated from society, contribute more to and therefor better show love for society than do all the intellectual gatekeepers.

muddy,

That was poetry, wasn’t it? In Truth, Beauty, and all that? Very, very nice. I used to float that way when I was still writing songs, but that was a long life ago. I still catch my old bandmates playing the old songs occasionally, and I do miss it (a lot), so it’s nice to see the familiar muse finding her way on this field of roustabouts.

There are two other things you wrote to which I’m compelled to respond. The first was that my allusion to “higher ground” was simply in reference to perspective. It seems to me that investigating what’s possible is more fruitful than trying to figure out what the bastards have actually been up to, for a great many reasons.

Take this bridge collapse thing. The one link I left out—assuming that everyone was already familiar with it—comes from Margaret Cheney’s Tesla: Man out of Time (here reprinted via Germano’s Tesla pages):

Excerpt from the New York World Telegram, July 11, 1935 -

Nikola Tesla revealed that an earthquake which drew police and ambulances to the region of his laboratory at 48 E. Houston St., New York, in 1898, was the result of a little machine he was experimenting with at the time which "you could put in your overcoat pocket." The bewildered newspapermen pounced upon this as at least one thing they could understand and Nikola Tesla, "the father of modern electricity" told what had happened as follows:

Tesla stated, "I was experimenting with vibrations. I had one of my machines going and I wanted to see if I could get it in tune with the vibration of the building. I put it up notch after notch. There was a peculiar cracking sound. I asked my assistants where did the sound come from. They did not know. I put the machine up a few more notches. There was a louder cracking sound. I knew I was approaching the vibration of the steel building. I pushed the machine a little higher. "Suddenly all the heavy machinery in the place was flying around. I grabbed a hammer and broke the machine. The building would have been about our ears in another few minutes. Outside in the street there was pandemonium. The police and ambulances arrived. I told my assistants to say nothing. We told the police it must have been an earthquake. That's all they ever knew about it."

Some shrewd reporter asked Dr. Tesla at this point what he would need to destroy the Empire State Building and the doctor replied: "Vibration will do anything. It would only be necessary to step up the vibrations of the machine to fit the natural vibration of the building and the building would come crashing down. That's why soldiers break step crossing a bridge."

"On the occasion of his annual birthday celebration interview by the press on July 10, 1935 in his suite at the Hotel New Yorker, Tesla announced a method of transmitting mechanical energy accurately with minimal loss over any terrestrial distance, including a related new means of communication and a method, he claimed, which would facilitate the unerring location of underground mineral deposits. At that time he recalled the earth-trembling "quake" that brought police and ambulances rushing to the scene of his Houston Street laboratory while an experiment was in progress with one of his mechanical oscillators..."

The rest of the story is also quite good, if you haven’t read it for a while.

This is one of those background pieces, theoretical underpinnings which illustrate what could be going on. If we start at the other end with the scattered, censored, edited and generally PR-ed reports of what some secretive agencies are up to, then we’re trying to put a puzzle together from pieces that we’ve been given by those in whose interest it lies that we not figure out what’s going on.

And, thus limited in perspective and information, this is where we’re open to all that nasty internal squabbling. What, really, is the purpose of exposing fraudulent actors in these venues of discussion? As everyone knows, the reason that mis- and dis-information is often so successful is that it contains some measure of truth. So…when we throw out the dirty bathwater in which the agents provocateurs ritually cleanse themselves, we’ve fallen for the second level of the trap they’ve set.

First we wasted all that time & energy figuring out who was wearing the falsies (and fomenting a great deal of unnecessary hostility among our fellow seekers in the process.) Then we “eliminate” the one thing that might have helped us in our search—the seed of truth that the bad actor was using to gain our trust.

Mission accomplished. Angry, fearful & divided…we fall.

I didn’t mean to imply that I had found some higher emotional plateau than anyone else, or that I’m immune from these tricks of the trade. I fall for just about any old trap when I’m not being careful. What I am fairly certain about is that coming together is a really good idea.

A mountain of fear-mongering has been erected at the prospect of human unity. The hive-mind, loss of individuality, free will, etc, etc. The most compelling reason I use to reject all of that as propaganda is because this "freedom" without autonomy they offer in place of the real thing is empty, shallow and worthless. No man is more a slave than he who thinks he’s free. If the choices we're given are not meaningful, then we're not really choosing.

If we were to grant the serfs true autonomy—the freedom from want—then we’d see some semblance of freedom. Then we’d see folks discussing forks in the road with informed consent. In Shrub’s dialect, the abundance of abundance would bring about the scarcity of scarcity.

On a much more personal note (speaking of which, thanks for the health wishes!), I’ve had a taste or two of real communion in my life. It does not negate your free will or sap your life force—it enhances both a hundred-fold. We do have within us unlimited fountains of creative energy, untapped powers of mind that can not only interact with matter but even "create" it.

Sure, there are nasty detours and backstreets of the mental universe. Just as there are evil pied pipers who would lead us down them. Egregores of nefarious intent, even. But if you’ve ever experienced that cosmic consciousness we talk about, even on the small scale of a union between two souls, you know that love is far, far stronger than hate.

I was just describing how this works on an emotional level in my new revision of tomorrowtoday (which I’ve not yet posted). It’s very, very simple. There are only four fundamental emotional states: mad, glad, sad & scared. Everything else is a secondary or mixed state, just like with colors. So, of these primary four, you’ve got two that are isolationist and aggressive (anger and fear) and two that are empathetic and open (joy and sadness).

Counter-intuitively, or according to our conditioning (whichever interpretation you prefer), the empathatic states empower us, enabling us to be human, to experience what it means to be alive, while those self-focused, wall-building states weaken us and chain us to this man-made vale of tears.

Jacob and Bob Marley are both archetypal icons for good reason.

Did you ever look at someone you knew intimately and know exactly what they were thinking without any words being exchanged? That’s why the revolution will not be televised.

But it has already been described. This is the end of Jeff’s Monotony of Evil post from last summer:

…evil aways wants more of the same, and there will always be less until there is none, it's easy to lapse into pessimism. Perhaps too easy. And perhaps that's where Weil returns.

Simone de Beauvoir writes of Weil, in Memoirs of a Dutiful Daughter, that "A great famine had broken out in China, and I was told that when she heard the news she had wept: these tears compelled my respect much more than her gifts as a philosopher. I envied her having a heart that could beat right across the world."

Weil died in England in 1943 of tuburculosis, though her death was hastened by her refusal to eat more than the ration allowed her compatriots in occupied France. She wrote, "Human beings are so made that the ones who do the crushing feel nothing; it is the person crushed who feels what is happening. Unless one has placed oneself on the side of the oppressed, to feel with them, one cannot understand."

Evil doesn't do empathy. We had better. Because if our hearts can beat around the world - if our consciousness can be elevated such that we see our isolation to be an illusion and our divisions a deceit of criminals who mean to crush us with them - then maybe the world will yet see some glorious novelty.

Couldn't have said it better myself (obviously).

So, Shrub: you wouldn't invite the Silverbacks? What about the Neanderthals?

Hmm. The Doctor has earned his martini.

Interesting catch.

Let's compare with the previous "freeway collapse" in San Fran that had an equal proximity to 9-11 truth. Both freeway collapses seem to have a desparate "compare me with 9-11, pleaaaase!" written all over it.

What is it about bridges/freeways that suddenly collapse without cause and 9-11 truth organizations being founded or Congressmen talking 9-11 inside job, in their areas

Is there a structural fault in freeway architecture that radiates out immediately after major media attention getting pronouncements of '9-11 inside job' that occurred in San Francisco or Minneapolis?

That Muslim Congressman noted the Reichstag fire comparisons to German fascism and then Bush's fascism and 9-11 and the Twin Towers, then, bam! his city of Minneapolis gets visited by structural collapse of a freeway bridge to show people there "see! complete structural steel collapses really happen all the time, you know, unlike your Congressperson says."

The other comparison comes from back in mid May.

Another proximity to 9-11 truth caused a freeway collapse in San Fransisco as well.

That freeway collapsed on cue after after a major "architects for 9-11 truth" inaugural talk and organization was started up in San Francisco. After the freeway collapse, the media was all over the story talking "comparisons to 9-11, see how gasoline melts steel. (sic)."

Given the double bridge collapses in Minneapolis (in that guys Congressional district and his 9-11 Reichstag Fire comparisons), and the previous bridge/freeway collapse we discussed in May (around "9-11 Architects for Truth" and their 3 hour public presentation about controlled demolition of the WTCs), both areas immediately had structural and unexplained collapses in their local freeway architecture once their 9-11 truth issues got major media attention.

In their immediately vicinity, bam! some sort of "unexplained" structural failure on freeway bridges" seems to occur like clockwork (or made to order?) for "instructing" the area to get back in fascist groupthink official line?

Here's the original comments I remembered, hardly long ago, 5/14/07, complete:

Mark,

I saw Richard Gage give a similar presentation (shorter) at the Berkeley City College symposium "Deconstructing Deceit: 9/11, the Media, and Misinformation"
the day after the Sonoma State presentation on 4/21/07. To see the entire Sonoma State presentation given, both parts 1 and parts 2, go to:

http://www.brightpathvideo.com/

Richard's group is putting up a new website which is supposed to be open in May called: www.ae911truth.org, "Architects & Engineers for 911 Truth" but has not opened up yet.

Richard spoke and went through a power point presentation showing how all 3 buildings that collapsed on 9/11 came down from demolition charges. As he went through all the characteristics of a building being demolitioned, it became very obvious that these buildings came down that way. He said he first got interested in the whole topic of 9/11 after listening to one of the programs on "Guns and Butter". He formed an organization called Architects and Engineers for 911 truth - www.ae911truth.org .

Bonnie Faulkner hosts the "Guns and Butter" show on KPFA ( 94.1 FM) on Wednesdays from 1 to 2 PM. If you ever want to hear more about 9/11, her show is the one that most consistently focuses on this topic. You can hear previous shows:

go to: www.kpfa.org

click on: "Schedule" at the top of the page,

scroll down to the 1 - 2 PM (PST)area, then click on "Guns & Butter" in the Wednesday column.

This brings you to a page that lists the most recent shows. And, at the bottom of the page is a calendar. By clicking on prior months, you can pull up the archives and get lists of older programs. If you have a sound card in your computer and speakers, you can listen to any of the old shows of "Guns and Butter"! This gives you a whole library of excellent talks on 9/11, stolen elections, the economics of imperialism, etc.

Jim Hoffman does the 911research.com website which provides a ground breaking, scholarly & authoritative review of the WTC Twin Towers "Collapse".

Jim spoke after Richard and talked about propaganda and controlling how people think about and understand various events in US history. He showed in detail how the major news stations reported too much in the immediate minutes and hours after 9/11 - about hearing explosions and buildings appearing to fall like demolitioned buildings - but within hours were all talking about how the buildings "collapsed". It was very interesting.

Please note that personally I wouldn't be surprised if the recent much publicized collapse one week later on April 29th due to an overturned gasoline tanker carrying 8,600 gallons of gas that resulted in the collapse of a portion of the Oakland Freeway connector that connects SF to downtown Oakland/Walnut Creek was deliberately done as a warning to anyone who makes a stand for truth. This group of AIA architects are based mainly in the San Francisco East Bay (Oakland) and I have this horrible gut feeling that someone in the BlackOps department connected with the 9/11 crap deliberately had the fuel tanker driver overturn his tanker--for him to have escaped with only 2nd degree burns and then walk 1.5 miles to get help doesn't quite add up. My bet is that the driver got paid off to overturn the tanker or the company, Sabek Transportation, that employed him that sounds as if it has some mob connections and will never ever have to work a day in his life:

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2007/04/30/MNGBEPI1371.DTL&hw=mosqueda&sn=001&sc=1000

this is just a wild guess but my guess is that TPTB hate Oakland and would nuke it in a second.

the local TV news programs that covered this story kept saying over and over how the steel beams melted and collapsed just like the WTC buildings did [sic] in 9/11. it was kind of weird how they kept linking 9/11 WTC buildings' "steel melting" with this local disaster right in the backyard of the 9/11 Truth movement, Oakland, California.

The fact that this tanker crashed just one week after the Berkeley 9/11 lecture is significant and not just to be easily passed off as another mere coincidence.

Thanks Falcon. Interesting geographic connections with that 9-11 truth talk and another major organization getting started dealing with architects, and that unexplainable 'gasoline truck toppling to melt steel' (sic) soon after in the same area.[since the media told us so.]

Since we live in such a Baudrillardian world, it hardly shocks me to contemplate something like what you outlined might be done, i.e., simply to generate a media clip. Simply stage an event to fill the holes in the official 9-11 lie about the Towers by a strange comparison, to 'show' a comparison to how 'gasoline melts steel.' Another intimation I have about that, was that that freeway 'accident' was a spoiled state terror event in some way. After all it occurred at the lowest possible traffic time in the typically most congested freeway interchange area. [Exactly like the very low 'kill' contexts of the Minneapolis bridge, with only one lane open each way on what is typically a 6-lane bridge.] Gasoline won't melt steel. Have you seen those pictures? I'd venture something else was involved and this is just a half story in the media.

The police and firemen in that story say that NOTHING is left of the truck at all. NOTHING.

Show me another example of that.

Bizarrely, the identical thing happened in Florida, though it was a "three level freeway catastrophe at night" instead of just a two level one at night in California. It occurred in Florida exactly one month (to the day) before the California one, though with an added bit:

On March 28th [instead of April 28/29th for California] an oil tanker crash closed an entire section Interstate 375 in St Petersburg, Florida. The section continues to remain closed undergoing repairs. Several people who lived in the neighborhood next to the overpass reported seeing a man with a shotgun on the overpass. Full article at http://www.sptimes.com/2007/webspecials07/graphics/375-rebuild/

Tampa where this occurred, is pretty 9-11 related, according to some whistleblowers:

Title: WHISTLEBLOWER! Pre-911 war games hit WTC, White House, Sears Tower, Pentagon with hijacks
Author: repost of Lauro "LJ" Chavez
Date: 2006.09.24 02:40
Description: "I feel that I should speak my mind and Ill tell you some things that I have not told many people at all. From 1995 till 2002 I was a Sergeant in the United States Army. Not only this, but I was stationed at United States Central Command, which is located at MacDill AFB in Tampa Florida. I was on active duty when 9-11 happened. In the days prior to the tragedies, we were involved in many exercises. Some of these exercises included the scenarios of hijacked planes crashing into, our building the world trade center, the White House, Sears Tower, and the Pentagon. These drills or exercises as we called them, where classified Top Secret. Having a Top Secret rated clearance I was dumbfounded that they would ever push a training exercise above the level of Secret."

Back in Tampa, what was the shotgun man for on the freeway? Discouraging real witnesses? Just a police officer? The unvoiced claim from picture captions implies "all this gasoline fire melted steel" as well, which I am sure will be news to architects.

(I don't know the source of the article for that shotgun issue, though it was mentioned as a comment here.)

Thanks Francis and Mark.

Examples of things that government will do to achieve objectives. Sad that my countrymen do not have the tools or intellect to see that these things go on.

Still more betrayal of the integrity of our nation, the media and international institutions.

Most people cannot process these elements of truth, and unfortunately it is not going to ‘go viral’ until we have better frameworks for understanding.

Gas doesn't melt steel. It seems not even over four thousand tons of ammonium perchlorate will melt steel. Ammonium perchlorate is what is used to boost rocket fuel and is highly unstable and flammable.

mark,

thanks for reposting the comment regarding the Oakland overpass collapse which I believe we can agree was another psyops distraction destruction to reinforce 9/11 WTC buildings' collapse due to "fire".

On a somewhat related subject, regarding the use of radio EMF wave weaponry, these bastards are really going whole hog after the SF Bay Area.

What the hell am I talking about?

they have turned up the damn volume of this radio weaponry at the entire SF Bay Area, particularly the city of SF, such that especially from noon onwards during the day you can be standing along the Embarcadero and start getting woozy, tired, lightheaded from the damn radio waves being pointed at the city of SF.

needless to say, there are several reasons for targeting SF:

1) disrupt the Pelosi office at Montgomery street across from the Embarcadero by causing folks to be space cadettes, super tired, almost dizzy.

2) continue to increase the volume of the G-d d_amm radio frequency waves so it starts up a big earthquake in SF, the intended target, and shut the city down so Gov "Arnuld" terminator can declare martial law in SF ("state of emergency") and force the lame Dems to focus on emergency measures in their homebase.

3)If they can succeed in starting up an earthquake around richter point 7.5 to 8.0, then they can succeed in doing another Katrina to the most hated of all places in the US, the city of SF and surrounding areas such as Oakland, Berkeley, marin, etc.

It is getting really hard to continue to live and work in SF with the intensity of this vibration, I am not making this up, other folks in my office pointed this out first to me before I brought it up.

I have gotten no response from Pelosi's office, they are in denial and can't believe this sort of blackops crap is going on.

If I had to make a prediction, by the end of august don't be surprised if they succeed in a damn earthquake that shuts down the SF Bay Area and a major base for the impeachment efforts.

If any military/blackops folks who really believe in upholding the constitution and know about these g_d d_amn HAARP installations and mini HARRP installations (new smaller installs have been setup in the midwest) please understand this stuff has nothing whatsoever with stopping global warming, these radio "weather control" technologies are being used on civilian populations to mindcontrol them into being couch potatoes and have virtually no energy. Can I humbly ask folks out there who still have some conscience left to do what they can to PLEASE STOP THIS Radio EMF transmission crap from being directed at the SF Bay Area? It is almost like there is a war going. Please don't allow these criminals to get away with destroying the SF Bay Area.

check out the sad story about the father who changed his routine and was such a space cadette he forgot his toddler son in his SUV and forgot to drive to childcare and drop him off a week ago.

A side effect of the rethugicans’ privately financed black ops groups pointing sophisticated weather EMF type equipment (which has been said to contribute in the magnitude and direction of the Katrina hurricane) at the entire SF Bay Area means that most folks are in a “zombie” state and are not thinking, they are not in the present moment. I’ve noticed a lot more drivers the last few days going the wrong way down one ways streets in SF, more folks not “thinking about” what they are doing. With folks in a zombie state, they want to minimize protests when the switch to a police state comes and it’s coming sooner than you think.

This father got hit especially hard:

If a massive 7.2 plus size earthquake can be triggered, it will shut down San Francisco, Gov “Ar-nuld” can declare a state of emergency and martial law in the City of SF (this happened after the 1906 earthquake) then Nancy Pelosi and many Dems will be preoccupied with this disaster and the Dem led Congress will effectively be hamstrung.

Wow!

Y'know Oms, that's exactly the kind of shit that I imagine runs through the mind of a beetle, flipped over on its back, & futilely waving its little legs around as it waits for someone to step on it.

Good to see you back.

By the way Oms, can you only channel Plankton from Spongebob or do other cartoon characters speak through you as well?

Personally, I'd like to see you try a batshit crazy paranoiac rendition of Scooby-Do.

Now how would that go.....?

Sounder,
Time after time--I am a horrible gambler. Yet you have inspired my sometimes hastily informed viewpoint yet again. I especially liked this:

"I wish to have substance shape the forms rather than the conventional habit of looking through forms in the hope of then finding substance."

Thinking about this for a bit too long I find my head to have formed into strangely shaped knots. Once they have unraveled I will be much the wiser.

In lieu of actual payment I offer this Jung/UFO article.

IC, you shine a light on the underfed realm of new possibilities and probabilities with unerring steadiness--it (aforementioned realm) is being seen. Eyes are being opened. Thanks to you.

And if anyone else is interested there's this Dark Sorcerer fellow who might as well be(probably is?) a regular around here.

Uh boy, some discussion on Robot Death From Above and Within here:

http://globalguerrillas.typepad.com/globalguerrillas/2007/08/journal-militar.html

"Many dreams of robotised and automated high-tech warfare, permanently projecting perfect power into global south cities, are emerging here [in the US]. The objective being to try and delegate the decision to kill to computer software embedded within networked weapons and sensors which permanently loiter within or above urban space automatically dispatching those deemed 'enemy'."
